On Wednesday August 18th at about 9:40pm, Police responded to a report of a robbery in The Quarter. When Police arrived at the scene, it was reported that two masked men armed with a firearm and a machete, robbed the Dragon Garden Chinese Restaurant. One female Chinese cashier received injuries to her head. Inspector Paul Sinclair said, “We haven’t ruled out the possibility of both the robbery that occurred at Shoal Bay, and this latest robbery at the Chinese Restaurant being related”. The Inspector made it abundantly clear that the Royal Anguilla Police Force has positive lines of inquiry, and has the utmost confidence that the perpetrators of these crimes will be caught. Once again he urged the general public, that anyone having any information on either of the robberies to contact the Royal Anguilla Police Force or any officer of their choice.
