Stingers Cycling Club Says Thanks


On behalf of the Stingers Cycling Club, we would like to express our appreciation to all who supported our annual Father's Day race held on Sunday June 20th 2010. Your commitment was incredibly helpful and allowed us to reach our goal.

Special thanks to Cap Juluca Hotel for the accommodations, Caribbean Pipeline Technologies Ltd. for all the trophies and to Elmoalis, Reys Funeral Home, CuisinArt Resort & Spa, Drakes & Sons, Bryan's Construction, JAG Gumbs & Company, Gossip, Highway Tire Shop, Aronel, City Liquors, Mango's Restaurant, 4C's Rentals, Hi-tek Signs & the Royal Anguilla Police Force for assisting our cyclists on the road.

Seniors
1st Claude "Patterson" Richardson - Stingers
2nd Kris Pradel - Stingers
3rd Vinish Narine - Link Cycle
4th Justin Hodge - Link Cycle
5th Danny Laud - Stingers


In addition to the race there was a "hill points competition" that was won by Claude Richardson and, because he was the first local rider to cross the finish line, he also won two nights at a hotel courtesy of Cap Juluca Hotel.
The Club also raffled a Trek 1.1 road bike that was won by Clayton Deane of North Side.
