Fairplay Group of Companies is this year sole sponsor of the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School’s Annual Road Races in the sum of US$4,800. In making the on presentation on Wednesday on behalf of himself, his wife and staff, Managing Director, Quincy Gumbs, said it was a great pleasure for them to partner with the teachers and students of the school.

“I have often described this as the most exciting event in the sports calendar of Anguilla,”
Mr. Gumbs said. “It is the only event that gives both students and teachers the opportunity to participate in a competition for the same cause; and it is very heartening to see the hundreds of students that are cheering the teachers on to the finish line as well as the teachers cheering the students.”
Replying, the Principal, Mrs. Ingrid Lake, thanked Mr. Gumbs and Fairplay Group of Companies for their initiative, thoughtfulness and generosity. She hoped that the joint relationship developed between the school and the company would continue to mature as they worked together towards the development of the students.
The road races will take place on Wednesday, March 24.
