The Anguilla Social Security Board’s Management Team held its annual Retreat at Paradise Cove on September 7-8, 2009 to update the Board’s Strategic Plan. The Retreat was facilitated by Robert Wynter, partner in the Jamaican firm Growth Facilitators and a certified Balanced Scorecard Practitioner.

Mr. Wynter took the team through the review of the Board’s Vision, Mission and Core Values; assessment of the key issues affecting the organization; the update of the Strategy and performance targets; and the articulation of the key Strategic Initiatives required for achieving ASSB’s 2020 Vision (A sustainable, excellent organization which has improved the quality of life for all through universal social security coverage).

The Updated Strategic Plan in the Balanced Scorecard format will be presented by the Director, Mr. Timothy Hodge, to the Board of Directors for approval. Once approval has been given by the Board, the Management and Staff will commence implementation.
