In 2003, because of his high perception of education and his want to develop his capabilities, he decided to pursue tertiary education. Nevertheless, his plan at that time was not to enter into ministry. However, due to his great desire to serve the Lord and his burning compassion for young men and women, God’s call was irresistible. Fortunately, Trevor responded to the call of ministry and decided to pursue studies in Religion.
During his teenage years, while attending the Mount Fortune Seventh Day Adventist Church, he was a role model for the youth and has had many preaching experiences, which moulded him into the individual he presently is. This stirring godly driven, young man during his lifetime at Andrews University, did not only devote his time to the books, but has had many missionary work experiences. He did evangelistic work in Louisiana (following Hurricane Katrina) and Africa which ultimately inspired many individuals to surrender their lives to Jesus.
Trevor has worked with the Youth Pastor in Chicago at the Hinsdale Seventh Day Adventist Church which allowed him to widen his knowledge about youth issues. He developed his leadership skills at Andrews University, while holding the positions of Residence Advisor and Dean Assistant.

Trevor’s diverse experiences in evangelism and leadership have allowed him to develop into a well-rounded individual which is necessary for ministry.
One of Trevor’s greatest aspirations is to become an international evangelist, while being able to administer to the needs of those who are sick. This view persuaded him to enter the medical field as well and presently he is pursing studies in Nursing. He believes that ministry is not only about the spiritual, but also encompasses the physical. In this way, Trevor highly believes he can lead many souls to the saving knowledge of Christ Jesus.
During Trevor’s leisure moments, he visits the shut-ins of his district, Island Harbour. Trevor desires, and will strive, to be the best gospel worker he could ever be for the Master. His family and those who wish him well offer warmest congratulations and wish him God’s blessings as he pursues the work of the Master.
He is the son of Karl T. and Ruth Smith of Island Harbour.
