A privately-owned water truck and its loaded trailer went separate ways on late Saturday evening, August 15, just below the Environmental Health Unit. According to the driver, who was not injured, a pin holding the trailer in place broke as the truck turned the corner by the roundabout. The trailer fell off on the sidewalk at the eastern end of the road while the truck, still on its wheels, crossed the road to the vacant area below.

Adding to the congestion on the road was another accident, which occurred on the south side of the roundabout, involving two cars which appeared to have been travelling to the west.
