At the closing ceremony, a special presentation was made by a group called Nu Life Productions. Mr. Kasseem Forde, Director of Nu Life Productions (NLP) presented some 63 text and reading books donated by Felisha Brooks and Evan Brooks from their personal collections. Nu Life Productions is a non-profit organization which focuses on producing life changing events that will have a positive impact on the Anguillan community. As an organization, its goal is to do its part in bringing people to God and his salvation. Mr. Forde said that it has always been the desire of NLP to contribute towards the Blowing Point Youth Development Centre as a part of its commitment to Anguilla’s youth. The NLP is happy to be given this opportunity to fulfill its desire, by contributing to the Centre’s reading programme. Ms. Francis thanked Mr. Forde and the NLP for such a generous donation and encouraged the students to become excited about reading and make good use of the books donated.
Summer activities at the Blowing Point Youth Development Centre will continue with a week long Summer Day Camp beginning on Monday 17th August organized for children between the ages of 10 to 16 years old.
