LIME Customers Win Big With "UR IT" Summer Promotion Prizes


The Valley Anguilla: July 27, 2009 LIME’s scorching hot Summer Promotion tagged ‘U R it’, has become an instant hit and customers are thrilled to be winning from the exciting list of weekly prizes. The prize line-up will appeal to every LIME customer and includes cash, BlackBerry Devices, digital cameras and vouchers for spa services, groceries, petrol and school supplies which will be available just in time for the new school year. Five (of six) week one and two winners were presented with their prizes at Telecoms House in The Valley on Monday July 27 2009.

Endorsing the excitement generated by this first-time summer promotion, customers have indicated that they will do everything they can to win as many of the prizes as possible. The lucky winners were presented with a BlackBerry Storm, a Digital Kodak Camera, a Cuisinart Spa treatment worth US$100, grocery voucher worth US$100 redeemable at J.W. Proctors and two customers each won a cheque of US$250.

The winners were Mr David Bryan (BlackBerry Storm), Ms Leana Harris (Camera), Mr Ellis Connor (US$250), Ms Lorna Scott (US$100 Grocery Voucher), Ms Jennifer Ashbourne (Spa Treatment) and Ms Stasia Greer (US$250). The exuberant David who loves BlackBerry devices said, ‘I have never won anything before, this great!’ All the winners were equally excited and expressed their pleasure at their good fortune. Ms Scott said she was going to spend most of her prize money on shopping for her mom.

“There is a definite buzz of activity in our stores in Anguilla since the launch of our summer promotion. Customers everywhere are fancying their chances of winning, so LIME is where the action is this summer without a doubt,” declared Country Manager, Mark Romney.

Launched on Monday July 6, the ‘U R It’ promotion gives LIME’s customers a chance to win by topping up $20, texting the word “UP” to 5463, making a prepaid mobile call that lasts 5 minutes or longer and taking up any product or service in LIME’s portfolio. With the promotion running over a two month period, hundreds of customers are expected to win from a prize pool totaling $55 000. Customers may win multiple times, via any of the qualifying methods.

While customers will win prizes over the next 6 weeks in the weekly prize draws, there will be a series of instant prizes of LIME-branded paraphernalia including Baby Tees, Sports Towels, Folding Chairs, T-shirts, Backpacks and caps for customers who text “UP” to short-code 5463. Truly an all-inclusive promotion, every LIME customer has a real chance of walking away with something “LIME” this summer.
