Horsford, Babrow Placed Third In Bridge Tournament


Anguillians Randolph Babrow and Selwyn (Roy) Horsford, returned to Anguilla on Wednesday this week from Grenada where they represented Anguilla at the recently-held 22nd OECS Bridge Tournament.

Teams from the OECS islands of Anguilla, Antigua, St. Kitts and Nevis, Grenada, Dominica and St. Lucia participated in this event. Other islands which competed in the tournament included Barbados, Martinique and Trinidad.

The tournament comprises the National Teams Competition, the Open Pairs Competition, the Open Teams Competition and the Swiss Teams Competition.

The Anguilla team of Mr. Babrow and Mr. Horsford teamed with a pair from Antigua and competed in the Open Teams Competition, where they placed third out of a field of 12 teams.
