Dear Sir,

Nowadays, Compassionate Customer Care is rarely exhibited in many corporate and community organisations.

I wish, therefore, to publicly recognise the sterling support provided in April 2009 by Anguilla Air Services, Ciao Restaurant, Island in the Sun Company Ltd, No Walls Church of Hope Ministries and Rey’s Funeral Home.

Special commendation is extended to all of the employees, members and owners of these local establishments who assisted during a time of bereavement. Their dedication to excellence and high professional standards were of great assistance to me and to my friend, Mrs Dorine Bramble of Davy Hill, Montserrat and formerly Rock Farm, Anguilla. They exhibited the kind of customer support that was needed whilst we mourned the unexpected passing of Mr Will (Parkie) Bramble.

Each person gave particular attention to detail and clearly was sympathetic of the sad occasion. They did everything that they could to ease many of the financial burdens in making the funeral arrangements – even reducing costs, not charging the customary professional fees and paying for expenses out of their pockets. Their exemplary character is commendable and should set an example for other businesses, churches and individuals to model on Anguilla.

I would also like to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to the many friends, relatives, acquaintances and pastors of the Brambles, both near and far who gave gifts from the heart during this difficult time. Whether you donated money, spoke a kind word, provided accommodations, cooked meals, transported personal effects, cleaned house, cared for the sick, said prayers, attended the memorial or funeral service, each gift no matter how small or large was a generous contribution.

In today’s world, we all need to remember to give compassionate care and exceptional service to everyone whom we encounter in our daily living.

With great appreciation for the kind-heartedness,

Kay M Ferguson (Ms)
