Minister of Finance told the media that part of the team was from the Caribbean Technical Assistance Centre (CARTAC). “They are working with us to put together some of the financial matters and all aspects of our budget; they are looking at our dense situation, our borrowing programme and our public sector investment programme.”

Mr. Banks said that another team member arrived on the island on Monday this week to assist with the work.

The Minister stated that the report should be ready by May 22. The Government will get a firsthand copy which will be published on its website and other copies will be circulated to the press.

A copy will be made available to the British Government in advance of a visit to the United Kingdom by a delegation for discussions on the matter and other related issues.
