NBA’s Chief Executive Officer, E. Valentine Banks, said that the Bank’s 24 years of service was a phenomenal achievement and a period of hard work for the Anguillian community. He stated that the mission of the Bank was to help with the development of the island and its people and he was of the view that so far that had been achieved to a great degree. “There is a lot more to come and we hope for many more years of profitability for this island and the Bank,” he said. On the economy, he commented: “It will get better. These things happen. We have cycles. This one may be a little worse than others in the recent past, but we will get through it and the Bank and the people of Anguilla will grow from strength to strength.”
