Malliouhana Hotel And Spa Honours Employees

Several employees at Malliouhana Hotel and Spa were awarded at its first Monthly Employee Recognition Awards Ceremony towards the end of February.

In the Supervisor of the Month category the winners were Mrs. Deborah Richardson from the Reservations Department, and Mrs. Beverly Vanterpool from the Landscaping Department. In the Employee of the Month category, the winners were Michael Connor of the Malliouhana Spa, Oasis, and Judith Webster, Switch Board Operator.

Now in its 25th year of operations, the 55-room Malliouhana Hotel and Spa currently employs 207 persons, many of whom have been with the hotel for over 20 years. A key strategy going forward is to seek to further enhance the image and profile of the hotel.

“We are pleased to show the employees appreciation for their important contribution to the hotel. I am extremely grateful for their efforts, especially all the nominees for awards,” said Mr. Bart van Deventer, Resort Manager. “I would like to congratulate Mike, Judith, Beverley and Deborah.”
