General Manager, Gary Thulander and Director of Human Resources, Phyllis Fleming-Banks, welcomed the pupils and teachers to the property and showed them around the Main House and Water Sports areas, where they met and interacted with various members of staff and managers, including many of their own family members.

Pupils learnt about the how the resort functions and the tasks of the various departments and staff members. They were made aware of the origins of the Juluca name and the relevance to the historic Fountain Cavern. The Grade One pupils and their teachers were also taken on a tour of Cap Juluca’s Herb Gardens and Nature Trails by Recreations and Environment Coordinator, Lloyd Gumbs. The visit also included a tour of the rooms and restaurants and concluded with a treat at Spice, the Resort’s Pan-Asian Restaurant.
