ECCB Seeks Public’s Feedback on 2008 ECCU Economic Review

The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) is conducting a survey in its eight member countries to get feedback from citizens on the 2008 ECCU Economic Review, which was presented by Governor Sir K Dwight Venner on 29 January 2009.

The survey seeks to assess the extent to which the review has helped to improve the public’s understanding and knowledge of economic issues that affect their lives; to evaluate the effectiveness of the interactive session which followed the Governor’s presentation and to obtain suggestions from the public for improving future Economic Review presentations.

Residents of Anguilla who heard or viewed the 2008 Economic Review are encouraged to air their comments and suggestions by completing one of the survey questionnaires. The one-page questionnaire is available at the General Post Office, the Customs Department located in the Post Office Building and the Edison Hughes Public Library. Persons can also visit the ECCB’s website (www.eccb-centralbank.org) or call the Corporate Relations Department at telephone number 465-2537 for a copy of the questionnaire.
