Thank You From ACF And Teacher Noonie Foundation

The Board of Directors of The Anguilla Community Foundation (ACF) and the Teacher Noonie Fund would like to express our sincere thanks to all those who came to the Inaugural Celebration, to those who made donations and to our many sponsors. We are pleased to announce that all the proceeds (approximately $17,000 U.S.) were contributed to The Teacher Noonie Fund which will be used to support youth and early childhood education.

First and foremost, we must thank Leon Roydon of the Malliouhana Hotel and Spa who generously provided the food and the venue. The event would not have been possible without the support of Bart Van Deventer who with his staff provided magnificent food and a beautiful venue.

We appreciate the generosity of the following individuals who provided the wines for the evening: Alan Gumbs, Leroy Martinez, Albert Lake of Vintours, Gilford Gumbs, Jacques Borderon, George Bozoghlian, Nathalie Le Senechal of Grand Vins de France, Sylvia McMeen and Carol Baines. Thanks also to Everette Romney of Romcan Mini Mart for his gift of soft drinks.
We would also like to thank Cap Juluca, Ku, Cuisinart, Malliouhanna Spa and Frangipani for the great prizes which were raffled. Special mention must be made to Gilda Gumbs-Samuel for her wonderful assistance in securing the raffle prizes and Dwight Chizen for selling them.

Joanne Mason designed and had the invitations printed for us and Pat Hunte and Seymour Hodge also provided us with assistance.

Thanks also to Calvin Barlett for airtime on What’s on today at ACCOCI and D J Ras from Radio Anguilla and to Nat Hodge for the great pictures and coverage in The Anguillian.

A very special thanks to Johnny and the Overdrive Stringband who entertained us so beautifully all evening free of charge.
