In its continuing effort to place more emphasis on training and education for members and businesses in Anguilla, the ACOCI sponsored two four-hour seminars on “Goal Setting and Business Planning” presented by noted International Speaker, Morton Patterson. The sessions were held 29 January at Paradise Cove Resort and all seats for both of then were filled.

Patterson’s appearance was sponsored by the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS/EDU) which has taken special interest in Anguilla as a result of interaction with ACOCI. Patterson, whose home is in London said, “This is my second trip to the Caribbean and I plan to expand my business here as I see opportunity to reach out to many people and businesses.”
In addition to doing seminars, he is a Business Coach, Keynote Speaker and Program Facilitator.
People attending the seminars were most complimentary of Patterson’s presentation and especially liked his interaction with attendees. According toone participant, “He maintains a fast pace and keeps your attention. I would definitely sign-up again.”
Chamber Exec. Director, Calvin Bartlett, said, “We are working hard to provide ACOCI members and local businesses with the information and resources they need to succeed.”
In recent years ACOCI successfully developed regional and international relationships that provide valuable marketing opportunities for Anguilla businesses.
