Pastors Philip and Hastings presenting gift to Principal
|
This essential tool was donated by the Seventh-day Adventist Community in Anguilla. Pastors Danny Philip and Carl Hastings, who did the presentation, expressed their happiness in being able to respond to the school’s request. Both Pastors noted that in addition to having God as the central figure in one’s life, education must be viewed as the passport to success.
There is no doubt that religion and education are closely interrelated, as they are both instrumental in transforming the lives of individuals. In today’s world, teachers have to modify their teaching approaches to captivate the interest of students. It is therefore pertinent for the school to embrace and use the technology which is now available in order to facilitate and enhance learning.
The management of the school and the teachers of the Business Department are grateful to the Pastors and members of the Adventist Community for their contribution.
The school takes this opportunity to express its heartfelt thanks to Mr. Bernard Carty, Contractor of South Hill, for his contribution of a laptop computer; Mr. Randolph Babrow of Babrow’s Enterprises for his contribution of an Electric Screen and the Manager of Haskins Ltd for their contribution of a filing cabinet.
Their positive response is no doubt indicative of their interest in our young people’s development and their willingness to be committed partners in education.
