Shoal Bay Beach, on the north coast of Anguilla, is one of the island’s thirty-plus beaches which regularly attract many visitors particularly around this time during the tourist season.

Many consider the enchanting Shoal Bay as being one of the world’s best beaches and it has received, and continues to attract, rave reviews from the travel trade press and visitors who frequent the island.

Shoal Bay Beach, which was once only accessible by a rocky footpath through dense overgrowth leading to an empty seafront, is now a bustling area. It boasts a cluster of fine accommodation facilities, restaurants and boutiques, the foremost of the latter being ZaZAA which was recently put on the market by Robin and Sue Ricketts. There are also various other service facilities including boat trips, snorkeling, massages and sale of local arts and crafts.

The area is home to the Fountain Cavern, an Amerindian cave, which one day is expected to be developed into a tourist attraction.

There is hardy a visit to Anguilla which does not include a trip to Shoal Bay where many tourists reside, relax on the powdery beach, swim or snorkel in the azure waters, enjoy fine Anguillian and Caribbean cuisine and do some boutique shopping. The memories are forever.
