Anguilla Rotary Club receives District Governor |

The Rotary District Governor for District 7020 (The Caribbean) visited Anguilla on Thursday, August 21. District Governor Rupert W. Ross, Jr., from the island of St. Croix, took office on July 1 and has started his travels around the 10 distinct countries in this very unique Rotary District.

District Governor Rupert and his wife, Cheryl, arrived safely in Anguilla after taking the short ferry-boat ride from St. Martin’s seaport of Marigot. The group assembled outside the Blowing Point Ferry Terminal and proceeded with a brief tour of the island with a visit to the Road School playground – a facility erected by the Rotary Club for children. During their brief stay in Anguilla, District Governor Rupert and his wife, Cheryl, were able to meet briefly with the Anguillian Chief Minister, the Hon. Osbourne B. Fleming.
