Newly-appointed Manager at Covecastles Villa Resort, Andrea Richardson, says the property is looking forward to a good season starting with increased bookings around Thanksgiving in November and is fully booked for Christmas.

The property, located on Anguilla’s beautiful southwest coastline at Shoal Bay, West End, has sixteen rooms. The resort is now adding a fitness centre which will hopefully open by Christmas.

Ms. Richardson served as Operations Manager at Covecastles prior to assuming her present post at the beginning of September this year. She took over from Sylvene Petty who came out of retirement to serve for another year and a half, having successfully managed the resort for a number of years.

Ms. Richardson, who has a staff of 26, says it is expected that several other persons will be employed in the housekeeping department.

“It is a new experience, but I am working my way through,” she said confidently, when asked how she was settling down as Manager of the Resort.
