The Anguilla Football Association Annual Soccer Camp was another resounding success. Over one Hundred kids between the ages of 3-17 years, flocked the park each day between the hours of 9-12 am from 13th to 24th August.

The activities included such basic technical skills as trapping, passing, dribbling, heading, shooting and defending. Other activities included small-sided games, back yard Olympics and juggling competitions. The Summer Camp was facilitated by FIFA Coaching Instructor, Mr. Colin Johnson, assisted by Leon Jeffers, Melissa Carty, Krystie Webster, Dee’Ann Rogers Judiann Vanterpool and Delvina Carty.

This year the Camp was sponsored for the first time by the Caribbean Lottery. The camp culminated on Friday 24th August with the back yard Olympics, a barbeque and prize giving ceremony.

The Anguilla Football Association would like to thank the Caribbean Lottery for their generous sponsorship. They would also like to thank all the families and friends, the young footballers, the coaches and anyone who helped in any way to make the Football Summer Camp 2007 a great success.
