During his visit to the UK, Mr. Connor used the opportunity to meet with two highly respected environmental agencies, namely, Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB). The purpose of this visit was to sensitize Mr. Connor to the main headquarters/staff of these agencies, and to enable him to get a better understanding of their working relationship with the UK Overseas Territories (UKOT). Additionally, Mr. Connor was invited to deliver a lunch time lecture to staff members of JNCC in Peterborough. His presentation was entitled: Invasive Species: The Case of the Giant African Snail (Achatina fulica) in Anguilla.

Mr. Connor would like to extend his appreciation to the Overseas Territories Environmental Programme (OTEP) and the Government of Anguilla for financing his studies. Additionally, he would like to extend a special thank you to all his family and friends for their prayers and support. Mr. Rhon Connor is the son of Mr. and Mrs Raymond and Viola Connor of Blowing Point.
