Anguilla's Primary Schools Kiddies Cricket |

On June 3rd, two cricket matches were held at the James Ronald Webster Park.
In a further effort to promote and development hard ball cricket in the primary schools, two teams were formed (Red vs Blue) of which a ten over match sponsored by Scotiabank Anguilla Limited was played.

The Red team represented Scotiabank and the Blue Team represented Michael Fleming.
Batting first was the Red Team who scored 47 runs for 8 wickets off ten overs. In reply, the blue team scored 45 for 7 wickets.
Organiser of the game leading up to the match between St. Maarten vs Anguilla, Mr. Michael Fleming, said, “I enjoyed seeing the youngsters play in such a professional way. This tells me that they have a great love for the sport.”
He is looking forward to organising much more matches and training camps between the youngsters which is his way of building the youth for the future.
Youth Cricket Development Officer, Mr. Cardigan Connor wishes to express special thanks to Mr. Fleming for his support of cricket at youth and senior level. His efforts are ensuring that the future of Anguilla’s cricket is on an upward trend. Also special thanks to Scotiabank for their support of Kiddies Cricket and at the Under 13’s level. To the young cricketers, you are our future, keep up the good works.
