Customers doing business at the National Bank of Anguilla were told during a special promotion drive in the lobby area about some of the bank’s special offers and services to them for the month of March. Carrying out these duties were Marisa Gumbs and Catalina Hawley, NBA’s Market Research & Business Development Officers.

“The newest offer is the dream vacation loan – pick your destination today,” Miss Gumbs said. She noted that persons desirous of going on a cruise were required to have their down payments paid months in advance of the trip in order to be accommodated. Accordingly, NBA was now encouraging persons to come in early to get the necessary loan funds to be well ahead of the time for the cruise.

Another offer is the land loan. “At this critical time in Anguilla’s development, NBA is offering Anguillians the opportunity to own a piece of our precious island,” Miss Gumbs explained. “We are offering land loans at 9% declining interest, 10-year payback period and 100% financing. At NBA 100% financing is truly 100%. You can get your loan charges, legal fees and transfer fees included in the loan.”

Miss Gumbs further said: “We are also promoting at this time our online banking. We launched this product around April last year and it has really been doing well. The Anguillians have accepted and embraced this product. It is definitely a way to keep you out of the long line at the bank. It saves you a lot of time because you can do all of your transactions at home. It allows you to transfer funds between your accounts. You can pay your bills at Caribbean Cable Communications, your electricity bill at ANGLEC and your bills at Cable & Wireless as well as your loans and credit card bill, all through NBA’s online banking.”
