Keep Anguilla Unique

The Editor
The Anguillian Newspaper

Dear Sir:

KEEP ANGUILLA UNIQUE

Just a brief comment on the new number plate styles proposed for the island. Although they are colourful, I think that they look tacky and cheap. They will make road users’ vehicles look awful – like the cheap and tacky number plates in a neighbouring island.

Surely, we do not want to go down that route – do we? What’s wrong with old fashioned black and white plates? Let’s keep Anguilla unique and avoid the cheap and tacky route that other islands have gone down.

I say we should keep our ‘domino’ (black & white) plates for as long as we can.

Keep Anguilla unique.

Best wishes to all at the Newspaper. Keep up the good work.
