Tranquility Jazz Festival on BET Network


Anguilla received unprecedented coverage in its major markets with the release of an advertising video for the 2003 Tranquility Jazz Festival.


The advertisement was launched on BET, BET Jazz, VH1 and MTV on Wednesday, August 13 as part of the marketing initiatives to promote the upcoming Festival slated for November 14-16.

The thirty-second spot featured the major sponsors of the event as well as pertinent information concerning the performance lineup and schedule events for the three-day Festival. It will be shown three hundred times between August and October 2003.

This is the first time that Anguilla will be receiving prominent destination coverage, in the form of television advertising, with access to over ten million households in the USA and throughout the Caribbean. The island is expected to benefit significantly from the unprecedented exposure which will result from the television advertisement.

The advertisement was produced by BET Event Productions (BEP) as part of the contractual agreement among the Government of Anguilla, the Anguilla Tourist Board and BEP for the production of the Festival.
