Mission Statement
To expand upon the successful 7-year history of the ATA while providing the highest quality tennis instruction and tournament play to youth in Anguilla, the Caribbean, the USA, and others from abroad.

2003 Schedule
July 14 – 18 Week # 1 “James Ronald Webster Park ”
Ages: Time:
7 – 10 8:30am – 9:30am
11 – 13 9:30am – 10:30am
14 – 17 10:30am – 12 noon

July 21- 25 Week # 3 “Visiting Coaches & Player Week”
Tennis camp will be conducted at the tennis facilities of Malliouhana Hotel, Carimar Beach Club, Temenos Villas, and Cocoloba.

Coaching Staff
The ATA relies on a variety of PTR and USPTA certified tennis professionals from around the world. Visiting coaches all work closely with the Management Team to bring the best on and off court training programs to the juniors. This year’s team include:
Chris Wade, Texas, Bill Riddle, Tennessee, Jonathan Collazo, University of Southern Florida, Michelle Woodruff, Virginia, Robert Cox, Arkansas University, Eric Shore, Alabama University, Robert Speight, Tennessee, Tim Maciel, Colorado Springs, Rick Landry, Massachusetts, Marvin Hazel, Anguilla, and Mitchelle Lake, Anguilla.

Participants Should Bring:
Drinking water (no sodas or colourful drinks are allowed)
Tennis shoes and racket

Participants will receive a camp T-shirt and a Certificate. Tennis rackets will also be available for camp participants.

Camp information
The ATA summer camp week 1 is designed for juniors from Anguilla and surrounding islands. Week 2 is open to all players from any country. Coaches are hand selected and will represent an international flavor.

Activities
Each player will participate in on court drills and match play Monday – Friday. The staff will once again run the ATA Junior Championships for players age 10-18 the week of July 23-26.

2003 Fees
A registration fee of US $25.00 will be charged to all participants in this year’s program. This fee will help to cover various costs incurred during the two week sessions

Management Team
Mitchelle Lake - Founder/ President
Mr. Lake is a PTR certified tennis professional. He graduated from Gardner-Webb University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. He founded the Anguilla Tennis Academy in 1996 and has organized summer tennis programs in Anguilla for the past seven years. He is a proud Anguillan and an advocate for young children.

Bill Riddle – Tennis Event & Program Director
As a PTR & USPTA Certified Tennis Professional, Bill has taught and coached tennis for the last 16 years. Currently, he serves as the Managing Director of Tennis & Sports Complex for the Bluegrass Yacht & Country Club in Nashville, Tennessee. Being a PTR National Clinician/ Tester and Tester for the USPTA allows Bill to work and teach coaches and pros the ins and outs of the tennis industry.
