ART STUDENTS PRESENTING WORK AT SHOW

Students who have been taking lessons at the Loblolly Gallery will be showing their work at an exhibition on May 2.

The young artists, ranging in age from eight to eighteen have worked in watercolour and acrylic with artists Paula Walden, Marge Morani and Georgia Young who have volunteered their time since the lessons started in January. The students also had a series of lessons on cartooning with Beverlie Seal.

The students who will be showing their work are Roxanne Webster, Christy Webster, Chrystal Webster, Drexel Davy, Jason Hodge and Natalie Hawkins. Everyone is invited to attend the exhibition on May 2 between 4.00 p.m. and 7.00 p.m. The Loblolly Gallery will close on May 3 but there are plans to continue the art instruction when it reopens in November.
