Shem Liddie Wins Police Raffled Vehicle


Shem Liddie, a young man from East End, is the winner of the large and brand new Avalanche Jeep valued at some US$49,000, and imported by the Police from dealers in St. Maarten.

He won the coveted vehicle in a raffle drawn on Saturday, January 31, during the Police Dinner and Ball at Blue Ridge Hotel, South Hill. The occasion was the concluding event marking the 37th Anniversary of the Royal Anguilla Police Force.

Liddie was presented with the keys for the vehicle by Commissioner of Police, Keithly Benjamin, on Wednesday this week, outside Police Headquarters.
