The curriculum of GSB focuses on management of strategic issues faced by banking executives and other financial services industry professionals. NBA has enrolled over 20 employees in the School since 1989 and has produced numerous graduates of the School since then. Market Research & Business Development Officer of NBA, Ms. Marisa Gumbs, stated that the Bank is very cognizant of the need to continuously develop and further educate its employees, therefore, it is highly supportive of the Programme, whose mission is “Educating Professionals, Creating Leaders”. Given the high level of interest in GSB educational programs from bankers in the West Indies region, GSB now offers joint educational programs at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business at the University of the West Indies in Trinidad. This highly respected educational entity brings a strong reputation in offering quality programs with practical results for participants.
Mrs. Goodridge began her employment with NBA 23 year ago when the Bank opened its doors to the public in 1985, and Mrs. Richardson began her employment exactly one year later in 1986. Mrs. Goodridge is Head of the Bank’s Verifications section and Mrs. Richardson heads the Bank’s Foreign Services section. They both received their diplomas at the Commencement Ceremony, which was held on August 23rd, 2008 in Madison, Wisconsin.
The Board of Directors, Management and Staff of NBA are indeed proud of their accomplishments and extend congratulations to both Marjorie Richardson and Elma Goodridge along with their families on this endeavor.
