Mr. John (Bob) Rogers, former Chief Minister Sir Emile Gumbs, key figures in the 1967 Anguilla Revolution, and newcomer to Anguilla’s politics since then, Minister of Finance, Victor Banks, rarely get an opportunity to meet to discuss matters of mutual interest.

That opportunity was provided to them when they had an impromptu meeting on Monday, June 16 on the grounds of Government House, Old Ta. The occasion was the celebration of the Official Birthday of Queen Elizabeth The Second.

Mr. Rogers, now a retired real estate developer and taxi-driver, still has a lot on his mind these days. One of those matters is his concern over NICA in which his family owns shares. He evidently took the opportunity of the meeting, particularly with Mr. Banks, to “talk his mind.”
