September 30 - October 2, 2009 - The 2009 CHTA Small Hotel Retreat will be held in St. Thomas, USVI, at the Marriott Frenchman's Reef. This event is developed by small hoteliers for small hoteliers, focusing on marketing skills, technology, and human resource development. January 10-12, 2010 - The 2010 Caribbean Marketplace, sponsored by CHTA, will be held in Puerto Rico in January. Registration For Caribbean Marketplace 2010 is now open. Caribbean Marketplace is the requisite business-to-business marketing event for the
Caribbean hotel and tourism industry to meet, network, negotiate, and conduct business with buyers from around the world. In 2009, Caribbean Marketplace had a record attendance of 1,521 delegates, 410 booths and 12,292 pre-scheduled appointments.
