COPY: H E The Governor
Hon Ministers of Government
Communique from the Honourable Deputy Governor – January 2011
The last two years have been difficult for all Anguillians but I suspect even more so for public officers. As we enter 2011 all Anguillians are faced with some uncertainty as to our prospects. I suspect however that public officers more than others are facing 2011 with greater uncertainty and therefore greater trepidation. While I am not in a position to offer absolute assurances as to how these uncertainties will be resolved, I feel comfortable in assuring you that our conduct will influence how the uncertainties are resolved.

Old Year's Night Sermon delivered at St. Mary’s Church on Januar
|
|
| |
Text: Luke 2: 41 – 52
Apart from seeking to serve God faithfully, what I like most about working in a church is the opportunity to connect with people of all ages and stages of life. We baptize babies and conduct funerals. We celebrate weddings and visit hospitals and Senior Citizens’ Homes. We prepare children and adults for confirmation. We counsel people of all ages. We conduct Bible Study and Prayer Sessions. We administer to the sick and house-bound. These are only a few of the things we do. In all of these acts, faith in God plays an important role.
