EXHIBITION OF ANGUILLIAN HOMES ON SHOW AT LOBLOLLY GALLERY

Artist Iris Lewis is currently showing an exhibition of her work at the Loblolly Gallery. This time Iris shows her talent with pen, ink and pastel. All the twenty or more pictures are of Anguillian homes, some of which no longer exist but Iris is trying to “save” them through photos and paintings for all to see.

Well-known talented artist Peg Gregory is once again showcasing some of her work in an exhibition at the Devonish Gallery. There are 24 oil paintings of houses, beach scenes, people, flowers and birds of Anguilla that for Peg are all part of the ‘joy’ of Anguilla.

HARDANGER EMBROIDERY ON DISPLAY

An exhibition of hardanger is currently taking place upstairs of Cheddie’s Carving Studio at Driftwood Haven. The beautiful and talented pieces are the work of Irenee Edwards and Stephanie Carty and include table runners, place mats, napkins, blouses, table cloths, doll’s clothes and centre pieces.

CuisinArt Plans More Art Exhibitions

CuisinArt Resort and Spa has mounted its first art exhibition for the year and is hoping to have many more by various artists during 2003. The resort opened this season with a new boutique set up in the area where the art gallery was originally located. The gallery has now been moved to a partly open area in the vicinity of the hydroponic farm and in a section of the lush gardens.
