Deputy Director in the Department of Social Development has completed and received a Master’s Degree in Management/Human Resources Management from the University of Phoenix in the United States with a 3.64 GPA on a scale of 4.00. The two-year programme comprised research, individual and group assignments affording her the opportunity to work with diverse individuals from several countries and varied professional expertise. Her studies were financed through a partial scholarship from the University of Phoenix and private funds.

Art and his wife Marian have resided in Anguilla for at least 15 years in South Hill. He was a giant of a man both in stature and in personality and was one of the most loved figures in Anguilla. |

Little did I know how serious this trouble in my life would turn out to be. It all started with a feeling of being very tired all week and no matter what I tried I was just tired. All during the week I could not wait until Friday to rest on Sabbath.

Whenever I think of Uncle Ned I see a huge guinip tree spreading a million leafy fingers in every direction – fingers which I believe in some way reached out and linked the lives of all of us children who were drawn to that yard. I can remember only once having been actually inside the drawing room of his house. The shade of the guinip tree served every imaginable purpose, from kitchen to doctor’s office.
